Alle 20 americane il canale ABC
In Italia saranno le 2 del mattino quando la cerimonia dei settantaquattresimi Golden Globes avrà inizio: l'appuntamento sarà trasmesso dal canale ABC a partire dalle 20 di stasera, 8 gennaio. Una kermesse molto attesa, l'anticamera degli Oscar: ma questo non significa che la kermesse che stasera vedrà sfilare le più grandi star del cinema del momento non sia altrettanto importante. A condurre la serata sarà Jimmy Fallon ma come sempre saranno tanti i personaggi del mondo dello spettacolo coinvolti nella conduzione per premiare i vincitori. La cerimonia avrà luogo al Beverly Hilton Hotel di Beverly Hills, in California. Tanta curiosità per La La Land, la commedia musicale di Damien Chazelle che ha fatto incetta di nomination e che è in corsa per due premi importanti, sia il Miglior Film che il Miglior Regista.

C'è chi negli anni lo ha solo sfiorato, chi può vantare di avere almeno un "globo" in bacheca, ma nessuno nella storia ha fatto meglio di Meryl Streep: l'attrice, di recente nelle sale con Florence, ha portato a casa ben otto premi nel corso della sua carriera, vantando anche il più alto numero di nomination. Alle sue spalle ci sono Jack Nicholson, Shirley MacLaine, Alan Alda e Angela Lansbury, con sei premi, mentre a cinque in classifica ci sono Francis Ford Coppola, Rosalind Russell e Oliver Stone.
