Sono appena state annunciate le nomination agli Oscar 2017. Fuocoammare, la pellicola di di Gianfranco Rosi, ha ottenuto la nomination agli Oscar come miglior film documentario. La cerimonia si svolgerà a Los Angeles il 26 febbraio.
La La Land ha ottenuto ben 14 nomination, tra cui Miglior film e migliori attori. Tra i migliori film, oltre a quello appena citato, ci sono anche Manchester By The Sea e Il diritto di contare. Ottimo bottino anche per Arrival e Barriere.
Nella cinquina dei migliori attori uomini ci sono Casey Affleck, Andrew Garfield, Ryan Gosling, Viggo Mortensen, Denzel Washington.
