La Hollywood Foreign Press Association ha annunciato le nomination ufficiali per le migliori serie tv candidate ai Golden Globe 2024. È l'annata di Succession: la serie di Jesse Armstrong, giunta alla conclusione con la quarta e ultima stagione, strappa la bellezza di 9 candidature complessive e stacca nettamente The Bear e Only Murders in the Building, ferme a 5, e The Crown rimasta a quota 4.
Golden Globe 2024: candidature alle migliori serie tv
Succession è presente praticamente in ogni categoria: miglior serie drammatica, tre migliori attori protagonisti (Brian Cox, Kieran Culkin e Jeremy Strong), miglior attrice con Sarah Snook e migliori non protagonisti con Matthew Macfadyen, Alan Ruck, Alexander Skarsgård e J. Smith-Cameron.
HBO conquista nomination anche con The Last of Us e Barry, mentre Disney+ entra di prepotenza in corsa con The Bear, Only Murders in the Building e Fargo, tra le favorite come comedy e nelle mini-serie. Debacle per Netflix che al netto del monopolio assoluto nella categoria stand-up, piazza in candidatura soltanto The Crown, The Diplomat e la rivelazione Beef - Lo scontro.
